The "Alexandra & Konstantin" Duo officially represented Republic of Belarus at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest |

There is a new version of the single «My Galileo» in this album. With this song the musicians debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest. The last song of the album is instrumental composition “Pa-za ablokami” (Behind the clouds), which will attract the listeners’ attention by elements of mysticism.
Production of this collection is caused by interest of the listeners to such albums as “Za lihimi za marozami” (After a hard frost), “Soika”, “Avtonomnaia navigatsia” (Autonomous Navigation), as well as by the necessity to collect the best and the most successful compositions of the duo A&K in one album. “Kliuchi zlatia” is a phrase from folk song “Pchiolka” (The Bee), whish is also included in this album.
A&K: - We are deliberately collected the songs of different styles. For those who likes a drive and motion in music first of all, we advise the songs “Iyr’ia”, “Kaliadachki”, “Du-du, da-da”. To the admirers of polyphony singing we advise “ A dze bila vutitsia”, the fans of archaic motives will like the “Oi oriel, ti orel” and “Za lihimi za marozami”, and the country ballad “Otpusti” and „The Money & The Mountains“ we have tried to make keeping with the best a traditions of Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne.
DVD-version of acoustic concert “Autonomous Navigation” includes 11 tracks. These are the best songs from the album of the same name, which was released in spring of the year 2006, and the songs from the previous CDs. The concert took place in February, 2007, in small hall of “Minsk” concert palace. The style of the duo’s music may be called “ethno music of 21 century”. The concert includes the songs only in Belarusian language. There is also the section Music Videos with the songs in English My Galileo, The Money & The Mountains, Stairs of Separation.
All the songs in the concert a re played “live”. A&K was accompanied by the great musicians Viktor Molchanov (guitar), Karen Karapetian (violin, darbuk), Nikolai Belanovich (drums).
When mastering the sound in the studio no tracks were rerecorded, that’s why the DVD-version keeps the warm atmosphere of “live” concert.
During the concert the unique experiment was carried out. Young painter Daniil Iermalovich was placed on the stage near the musicians. He translated the music of A&K into the language of visual images on the canvas. At the end of the concert the public saw the sounded music conducted through the conscious of young painter.
Everybody was surprised when during the concert Konstantin proposed marriage to Alexandra. Right on the stage in the presence of large audience he gave her the wedding ring. The spectators greeted this with applauses.

Autonomous Navigation
The music in the new release is bright, optimistic. It is in the major. The style can be defined as ethno-fusion - ethno music of the 21st century. Almost all sons are in the major.You might say it is a unique album because it includes songs in four languages.
The core of the CD is the modern version of Belarusian songs our forefathers used to sign many centuries ago. The CD also comprises a number of songs in English transmitted by some European radio stations. The album will have a Polish folk song Kalino-Malino reinterpreted by A&K, the song Antilope in Lithuanian and its English version Shiver & Shake. This is the song the duo owes its victory in the international contest Palangos Gaida in August, 2005....

My Galileo - The Best!
In July "Alexandra & Konstantin" have
released a new CD "My Galileo - The Best". It's a compilation, which includes
14 tracks. Among them are the best songs from the first two CDs ("Za likhimi,
za marozami" 2001 and "Sojka" 2003) plus "My Galileo" from "Eurovision 2004"
and four other previously unreleased recordings. The CD was released in
Belarus by West Records and has sleeve notes in both Belarusian and English.

hold in August in the ancient Belarusian town of Novogrudok at the annual
medieval arts festival.
